One of B Positive and The United States Of Al is likely to be renewed, the other is likely to be canceled, but since I’ve got no idea which will be which, I’m predicting both will be renewed, and will take a miss on the other.
When WB/Chuck Lorre’s sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola was renewed, and those two WB/Chuck Lorre sitcoms were not, that sent up a red flag that one would be canceled (otherwise, why not renew all 3 simultaneously?). They’re both in their second year, and have near identical ratings this spring. I’ve got no quantitative basis for making a distinction between the two.
In last week’s news, Blue Bloods was renewed, and Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow were canceled. Next week, is #ReaperWeek!

ABC shows predicted to be canceled
Queens – terrible ratings, rookie show CANCELED 5/6
A Million Little Things – terrible ratings, but wouldn’t be shocked if syndication economics kept it alive for another season
ABC shows predicted to be renewed
Big Sky – borderline ratings, even for a 10pm show, barely leaning renewal.Cancellation would not be a surprise
Home Economics, The Wonder Years – borderline ratings, barely leaning renewal for both. Cancellation of either/both would not be a surprise
The Conners – would be surprised by cancellation
CBS shows predicted to be canceled
Good Sam – terrible ratings
How We Roll – too low ratings for a rookie show
CBS shows predicted to be renewed
B Positive, United States of Al – One WB Lorre sitcom was renewed (Bob Hearts Abishola), these two were not. The only reason that would have been done is that one of these two is getting canceled. Which one? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Their ratings are nearly identical this spring.
FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International, Magnum, PI, Equalizer (5/5 renewed for 2 seasons) – would be surprised by cancellation
CW shows predicted to be canceled
CBS & WB Studios will cancel several of their CW shows, but it’s impossible for me to predict which shows.
CW shows predicted to be renewed
Dynasty, In the Dark, Legacies, Roswell, NM, 4400, Naomi, All American: Homecoming, Charmed – The CW is for sale! I’ve got no idea how that might effect the decisions that CBS & WB Studios make on their shows, but I’ll predict they renew them all, and take a few misses on the shows they’ll inevitably cancel.
Fox shows predicted to be canceled
Welcome To Flatch – terrible ratings.
Pivoting – terrible ratings.
Fox shows predicted to be renewed
Call Me Kat – low ratings. Predicting renewal on the guess that Fox won’t completely start from scratch next season with live action sitcoms.
The Resident, 9-1-1, 9-1-1:Lonestar – would be surprised by cancellation
NBC shows predicted to be canceled
Grand Crew– terrible ratings, rookie show
The Endgame – terrible ratings, rookie show
Kenan– ratings too low for a sophomore show renewal
NBC shows predicted to be renewed
Mr. Mayor – ratings as terrible as Kenan & Grand Crew, leaning slightly towards a renewal prediction (vs Kenan) on the guess that pairing it with Young Rock in the schedule demonstrates NBC’s added interest in the show. Cancellation would not be a surprise.
Law & Order: OC, Law & Order, Young Rock, American Auto – would be surprised by cancellation
