For The People Is Likely To Be Canceled
For The People is likely to be canceled. It’s ABC’s lowest rated non-Friday show, and as a sophomore it’s much more vulnerable to a cancellation then similarly low rated fifth season How To Get Away With Murder since ABC is now tending to “renancel” (renew for a final season) their s3 and older shows.
The Blacklist was renewed in the last week.

ABC shows predicted to be canceled
For The People– terrible ratings, only a sophomore
The Rookie – among ABC’s lowest rated shows and wasn’t renewed when fellow Fall freshman drama A Million Little Things was. It’s not completely dead, but that’s the way to bet.
Splitting Up Together – among the lowest rated non-Friday ABC shows. The only one of ABC’s low rated sitcoms that Disney won’t own in the future.
Whiskey Cavalier– low ratings, freshman show
ABC shows predicted to be renewed
Single Parents– lowest rated of the rookie sitcoms, stay tuned
Fresh Off The Boat – borderline ratings, but Disney/ABC will become the producer once the deal for Fox Studios closes.
Speechless – terrible ratings, but 3rd season shows are rarely canceled, and Disney/ABC is about to become the sole producer.
How To Get Away With Murder – poor ratings, but ABC is now in the habit of “renanceling” (renewal for a final season) it’s s3 and older shows.
American Housewife, black-ish, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, The Kids Are Alright, The Conners, The Goldbergs, Schooled – ratings currently in the renewal range, no negative issues.
CBS shows predicted to be canceled
Murphy Brown – same ratings as already canceled Happy Together, not renewed when rookie Fall sitcom The Neighborhood was renewed.
CBS shows predicted to be renewed
Fam – OK ratings, stay tuned.
Madam Secretary – terrible ratings (its syndication deal keeps it alive), but CBS hasn’t canceled a 5th season drama they produce in recent memory.
Bull – allegations against actor/EP Michael Weatherly threaten renewal of the show, but given history, and the amount of money at stake for CBS, the show is still likely to be renewed.
MacGyver – George Eads has left the show, but he’s irrelevant. The show is guaranteed renewal.
NCIS, SEAL Team,Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS:LA, NCIS:NO, SWAT, Man With A Plan – ratings in the renewal range, no negative issues.
CW shows predicted to be canceled
All American – left out of the mass renewal of CW Fall premiere shows, it’s dead.
CW shows predicted to be renewed
Roswell, NM – ratings now borderline, stay tuned.
Fox shows predicted to be canceled
Proven Innocent – terrible ratings, DOA.
The Gifted – bad ratings, short episode order.
Lethal Weapon – low ratings, short episode order. Both original stars are off the show.
The Passage – weak ratings trend, loss of Friday to WWE.
Fox shows predicted to be renewed
The Orville – Thursday ratings have recovered to merely below average, stay tuned.
The Cool Kids – Ratings have drifted lower, stay tuned.
The Resident – Could the loss of Friday to WWE cause Fox to cancel an above average rated show? It could.
Empire, Star, Last Man Standing, 9-1-1 – ratings in the renewal range, no negative issues
NBC shows predicted to be canceled
Blindspot – low ratings, owned by WB
Good Girls – poor premiere ratings
APBio – terrible premiere ratings
NBC shows predicted to be renewed
The Enemy Within – big ratings dip in episode 2, stay tuned.
Law & Order: SVU, Manifest, This is Us – ratings in the renewal range, no negative issues.
